Say what you will about DJs talking over the music but for a music based talk show it’s direct, onboard, and effective for announcements. If you don’t know it acts as a side chain compressor and ducks the volume of the music to the input of your voice on the mix. ***another key feature is the mic input having a talk over feature. I know plenty of mixers have kill switches but I come from Traktor S4 MKI background and it wasn’t until I got the MK3 that I had a controller with jog wheels that had a kill switch. So when you’re building up to something you can crank the knob back counterclockwise to hit your zero mark instead of fidgeting to the center. ** Coming back to the standard mix er itself in the channel strips the thing that stands out most and some thing I was actually looking forward to with this mixer is that the filter knobs operate from left to right/ dry to wet for every effect including your filters which on the DJ M 900 and most other mixers I’ve played on and the filters I choose I have the dry at 12 o’clock and turning the dial in either direction will give you a Low pass or high pas filter effect. Pitch was neat, I couldn’t seem to get a 100% wet sound out of it but I’m sure there’s either a reason why not or a way to do it. It works similar to a KP3 pad with a gold function, it was easy enough to figure out which channel I wanted to select, and I was able to get a couple decent results out of the sample air affect function… The oscillator seem to almost be a source of FM modulation. I toyed with the remix button and the side chain remix function a bit.
PIONEER DJM 2000 DJ MIXER CRACKED
The bottom half is still a little vague, though I haven’t yet cracked the manual. It took me and a friend halfway through one track to start getting a hang of the onboard fx mixer.
For my pioneer setup I currently only have 1 XDJ 700, going into an Korg KP3, and this DJM 2000.
